High-Capacity Mass for Vaccinated and Tested Parishioners

Increasing numbers in High-capacity Mass as we prepare to transit into COVID resilience phase

As a result of the relaxation of COVID-19 prevention rules, the MCCY has given us guidelines on how we can increase the capacity for Masses catering to vaccinated/tested parishioners.

While the MoH has indicated that religious gatherings can increase to 1,000 attendees, the detail safe measure guidelines and our physical facility will only allow our Parish a maximum of 230 parishioners. We will therefore implement this at the Sunday 5.30pm Mass progressively from September onwards.

The guidelines will also allow us to accept up to 20% of unvaccinated children aged 12 and under, coming to Mass with their parents. This limit will be managed by the myCatholicSG MARS booking system, on a first come first serve basis.

As a reminder, parishioners attending the high-capacity Mass will need to come with the TraceTogether App or Token, as well as their NRIC or Passport, so that our volunteers can verify your vaccination or negative test status. Photos of your identification as well as the vaccination or test status will not be acceptable. We request parishioners to come early as the check-in process will take a bit longer.

To maximise seating as well as to ensure that we can perform rapid contact tracing in the event of a confirmed case, we must implement an orderly seating sequence. We appreciate if you can follow the instructions of our ushers and allow them to seat you by zone and seat.

We understand that there will be inconveniences but we continue to hope that these COVID-19 measures will be temporary and will further relax as the situation improves. In the meantime, we pray and thank the Lord for keeping all of us safe during this past year.
