Women of Faith

Mission. A commitment to gather and pray together as a group for one another and for ourselves. We read the Word of God and meditate on what it means for us. We share what we have learnt with each other.

 

We are a group of ladies who come together on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursdays of each month, between 10.30am and noon. During special periods of the year, like Lent and Advent, the group meets every week to share and meditate on the Lenten/Advent Booklet from the Office of the New Evangelisation.

 

During these sessions, we pray the rosary to seek the intercession of our Mother Mary. After a short break, we break the Word using the Lectio Divina or Ignatian method, and share among ourselves how to live out the Gospel values in our lives. The session ends with the Angelus prayer at noon. After that, those who can avail themselves will gather for a fellowship lunch.

 

On Saturdays, some of us meet to attend the devotion to Our Lady at the Novena Church at 11.00am. More social activities follow after the Novena devotions with lunch and some shopping at popular places.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have regular Zoom sessions on Thursdays from 4:00 - 4:40 pm to pray the Rosary and share the Sunday Gospel readings from 4:50 - 5:30 pm. Do contact us if you want to join us.
