Parish Pastoral Council

What We Do in Parish Pastoral Council

The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) is essentially a strategizing and planning group. The Council brings together the wisdom, needs and hopes of the parishioners and of the entire community among whom we live. PPC  integrates insights, diverse experiences, expertise and faith of the people and priests in order to provide vision and direction for the parish community.

One of the functions of PPC is to investigate, ponder and formulate conclusions. In addition, evaluate the pastoral development periodically. The Council desires to build a more participatory, collaborative and co-responsible parish community.

Parish Leadership at Work: PPC – PCT – EXCO

At the heart of our parish leadership are three key bodies — Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), Parish Conversion Team (PCT), and Parish Executive Committee (EXCO)— working hand-in-hand to live out our mission of forming missionary disciples.

Rules of Engagement

Each plays a distinct yet interconnected role:

  • PPC provides the directional role, shaping and communicating the parish’s pastoral vision and priorities.

  • PCT holds the transformational role, guiding the implementation of pastoral conversion strategies and ensuring spiritual alignment.

  • EXCO carries out the operational role, driving execution, managing resources, and monitoring ministry performance.

Together, they move the parish forward—not just maintaining structures, but animating our mission:

To be a spring of living water in the city, where all are welcome to encounter God, witness the joy of His love, and serve our neighbours.
