Corpus Christi Message: From Fr Aloysius Ong
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, our hearts are drawn once again to the greatest gift our Lord has given us: Himself.
At every Mass, we gather around the altar to encounter Jesus truly present, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, in the Eucharist. Under the humble signs of bread and wine, Christ gives Himself completely to us. He nourishes us with His love, strengthens us with His grace, and reminds us that we are never alone. The Eucharist is not merely something we receive; it is Someone we receive. It is Jesus, who offers His Body broken and His Blood poured out for the life of the world.
Yet the mystery of the Eucharist does not end when Mass concludes. Each time we receive the Body of Christ, we are invited to become more deeply rooted into the Body of Christ. We are transformed by the One we receive and sent forth to reflect His love in our homes, workplaces, schools, and community. The Eucharist is both gift and mission, bringing hope where there is discouragement, compassion where there is hurt, and love where there is loneliness.
This year, our parish theme, “Many Parts, One Body,” finds its deepest meaning in the Eucharist. Around the altar, we come from different walks of life, carrying different stories, gifts, and experiences. Yet Christ gathers us into one communion. What unites us is greater than what distinguishes us. In Him, we become one family of faith, bound together not by our own efforts but by His love.
The Eucharist teaches us that every member of the parish matters. Every person has a unique place in the life of our community. No gift is too small. No act of service is insignificant. No one is forgotten in the eyes of God. As we celebrate Corpus Christi, I would like to invite each parishioner to take a simple but intentional step in living out our parish vision of Pray | Belong | Serve.
Pray.
Allow the Eucharist to draw you into a deeper friendship with Jesus. Participate at Mass with renewed attentiveness and gratitude. Spend time before the Blessed Sacrament in quiet adoration. Seek the healing mercy of God through regular Reconciliation. In prayer, we learn to recognise Christ's presence and listen to His voice.
Belong.
The Eucharist gathers us into communion, not only with Christ but also with one another. Consider taking a step towards deeper participation in parish life. Join a ministry, a small faith-sharing group, or a parish activity. Reach out to someone new. Offer a word of welcome. Let us continue building a parish where every person feels seen, valued, and at home.
Serve.
The gifts God has placed within you are meant to be shared. Whether through acts of kindness, ministry, outreach, hospitality, or quiet service behind the scenes, every gift can become an expression of Christ's love. As we receive the Lord who gives Himself completely, may we also learn to give ourselves generously for the good of others.
Dear friends, the Eucharist is the heart of our parish life. It is where Christ gathers us, forms us, and sends us. May this celebration of Corpus Christi renew our love for the Blessed Sacrament and awaken within us a deeper desire to become what we receive - the living Body of Christ in the world. May we continue to grow as a parish that prays together, belongs together, and serves together. And may all who encounter our community experience the welcoming, healing, and transforming love of Jesus Christ.

在每一台弥撒中，我们聚集在祭台周围，在圣体圣事中与真实临在的 耶稣相遇--祂的圣体、圣血、灵魂和神性。在饼酒的谦卑形象下，基督将 祂自己完全赐予我们。祂以祂的爱滋养我们，以祂的恩宠坚固我们，并提 醒我们，我们永不孤单。圣体不仅仅是我们领受的物品；祂是我们领受的 一位——祂是耶稣，祂为世人的生命献出祂破碎的圣体和倾流的圣血。
然而，圣体圣事的奥秘并非在弥撒结束时就结束了。每一次我们领受 基督的圣体，我们都被邀请更深地扎根于基督的圣体之中。我们因所领受 的那一位而改变，并被派遣到我们的家庭、工作场所、学校和社区中，反 映祂的爱。圣体既是恩赐，也是使命，它在沮丧之处带来希望，在伤痛之 处带来怜悯，在孤独之处带来爱。
今年，我们堂区的主题“许多肢体，一个身体”在圣体圣事中找到了 最深刻的意义。我们来自不同的生活背景，带着不同的故事、恩赐和经 历，聚集在祭台周围。然而，基督将我们聚集在一起，形成一个共同体。 使我们合一，远大于我们之间的差异。在祂内，我们成为一个信仰的大家 庭，我们彼此相连，不是靠我们自己的努力，而是靠祂的爱。 圣体圣事教导我们，堂区的每一位成员都至关重要。每个人在我们团 体的生活中都有其独特的位置。没有哪份礼物太小。没有哪项服务微不足 道。在天主的眼中，没有人会被遗忘。值此基督圣体圣血节之际，我诚挚 地邀请每一位堂区成员，以简单而真诚的方式，践行我们堂区“祈祷，归 属，服务”的愿景。
祈祷：
让圣体圣事引领你与耶稣建立更深厚的友谊。以全新的专注和 感恩之心参与弥撒。在圣体前静默朝拜。通过定期和好圣事寻求天主慈悲 的治愈。在祈祷中，我们学会认出基督的临在，聆听祂的声音。
归属：
圣体圣事使我们聚集在一起，不仅与基督共融，也彼此共融。 考虑更深入地参与堂区生活。加入一项事工、一个小型信仰分享小组或堂 区活动。主动与新朋友交流。送上一句欢迎的话语。让我们继续建设一个 让每个人都感到被关注、被重视和宾至如归的堂区。
服务：
天主赐予你的恩赐是要与人分享的。无论是通过善行、事工、 外展活动、热情款待，还是在幕后默默奉献，每一份恩赐都可以成为基督 之爱的表达。既然我们接受了那位完全奉献自己的主，愿我们也能学会慷 慨地为他人的益处付出自己。
