Encountering Christ in Advent: The O Antiphons

Encountering Christ in Advent:

Date: 22 and 23 October f2026

Time 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm in the

Main Church

Presenter: Friar Derrick Yap OFM

The O Antiphons is a two-evening reflection at the Church of St Bernadette.

The sessions will explore the seven traditional O Antiphons — O Sapientia, O Adonai, O Radix Jesse, O Clavis David, O Oriens, O Rex Gentium and O Emmanuel — helping participants deepen their understanding of who Christ is and recognise Him more fully as the Lord of their lives.

The event is held in conjunction with the parish theme for the year, “Creating Christ Encounter in Many Parts One Body.”
