In addition to deep inequality, the world is facing growing fear of migrants, isolationist policies and toxic
politics. Amidst all these, new technologies continue to come in waves that threaten to disrupt society.
The poorest among us stand to lose the most.
Join us at CANA as we explore how the Church's social teaching tradition can give us useful perspectives
on the role of the Church and how we can adopt the healthy attitude to many issues. Special attention
will be given to Pope Benedict XVI's encyclical that was published during 2008 financial crisis.
