Christian Meditation

The Christian Meditation Group of St Bernadette invites you. All are welcome from other faiths.
Date: Every Thursday
Time: 8.00pm - 9.00pm (soft music is played from 7.45pm).
Venue: AV01 Room, Level 2 of Parish Centre, Church of St Bernadette
In the stillness of the Church of St Bernadette, a diverse group of people finds a shared purpose. They are not defined by age or background but by a collective desire for a deeper connection with Christ. Each week, they gather to practice Christian meditation (CM), a quiet prayer tradition that harkens back to the 4th-century desert fathers.
But their journey doesn't end with silence. This ministry is a vibrant community. Over shared meals in the church canteen every quarter, they forge bonds of friendship and support, sharing stories and laughter. A library of media resources offers resources for personal growth, a testament to their commitment to nurturing their faith. Through their quiet devotion and communal warmth, they are joyfully witnessing to Christ's love. They are becoming missionary disciples, their peaceful presence and welcoming spirit drawing others into a community where Christ is truly present, not just in prayer but in every shared moment.
