Introduction to Accompaniment (ACOM) explores the meaning, purpose and practice of accompaniment in the Christian tradition. Participants are introduced to what it means to journey intentionally with another person towards spiritual growth, a deeper love of God, greater conformity to Christ, and greater awareness of the work of the Holy Spirit. The course also looks at the lifestyle, demands, choices and actions involved in both being accompanied and accompanying others. It is offered in collaboration with the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council to support parishes, ministries, apostolates, AOs, communities and working executives in strengthening a culture of accompaniment among their members and those they serve.
