ACMI Camino Walk in Singapore

Journey With___, An ACMI Fundraising Initiative
Every journey begins with a single step. Will you take yours with us?
Journey With___ is ACMI's fundraising campaign walking in solidarity with low-income and vulnerable migrants in Singapore. Like pilgrims on the Camino, many migrants arrive in a foreign land alone, far from family, facing uncertainty, and relying on the kindness of those they meet along the way.
This is your invitation to be that kindness. Through this campaign, we invite the wider Catholic community to walk in solidarity with them, because life's not meant to go it alone.
At the centre of the campaign is a remarkable act of solidarity: ACMI's Executive Director, Alexander Ee, will walk the Camino del Norte — an 827km pilgrimage across northern Spain — over 40 days, as a witness of accompaniment with our migrant beneficiaries. Alongside Alex's journey, participants in Singapore can join local solidarity walks or donate and fundraise through peer-to-peer channels.
Campaign Period: 28 May – 31 October 2026
Camino Challenge Period: 2 September – 13 October 2026

Walk in solidarity with migrants this September! ACMI's Camino Challenge 2026 invites you to match the distance our team is walking along the Camino de Santiago — a famous pilgrimage route in Spain — from the comfort of Singapore. Choose one or more days between 2 September and 13 October to walk your distance and raise funds for the vulnerable and low-income migrants in our community.
