Liturgy of the Word for Children
Liturgy of the Word for Children (LOWC) is held almost every 3rd Sunday of the month at the Sunday 11.45am Mass. We proclaim God’s Word to children aged 4 to 10.

Vision & Mission
We seek to proclaim God’s Word through the eyes of a child, celebrating the Liturgy of the Word with them in ways that awaken faith, joy, and wonder. Rooted in Christ, we sow the seeds of His Word — inspiring our children and our community to live and grow in His love, building God’s kingdom here at the Church of St Bernadette.
About Our Ministry
Through engaging and interactive activities, we help children understand and take part in the liturgy. Our aim is to help children understand and live out their faith, nurturing in them a love for Christ and the values of Christian living.
How I Can Serve?
Catechists: Pray and break the Word of God to share the Gospel message with the Children
Musicians: Play music for opening, closing and Order of the Mass for the Liturgy of the Word
Chaperones: Oversee the Children participating in the Liturgy of the Word.
