The Ministry of Hospitality makes the Church of St Bernadette a true home of welcome
— a place where every person, parishioner or visitor alike, experiences the embrace of Christ’s love.
Our mission is to reflect Christ’s hospitality through simple yet meaningful acts: offering a smile, guiding those in need, ushering worshippers with care, and carrying out our tasks with reverence and attentiveness. By ensuring the smooth and prayerful flow of the liturgy, we create space for all to encounter God more deeply.
In this way, we strive not only to build a stronger parish family, but also to reveal the love of Christ to all who enter our doors.

My name is Annabelle. I have been serving as a Minister of Hospitality ever since my Confirmation Year. Through my Ministry, I have learnt what it means to be a disciple of Christ through reaching out to fellow parishioners. I have also looked to Jesus as my model, for He came to serve, and not to be served. Through simple acts such as smiling and welcoming fellow parishioners to church, or pointing out where the restrooms are, we can make people feel at home, feel at home with God, and experience the peaceful presence of Christ. You do not need to have any talents to join the Ministry of Hospitality. All you have to do is to smile and serve with your heart! 😊

Commitment & Formation
