PARISH FEAST DAY
Our Parish Feast Day
will be celebrated on Sunday, 19th February 2012.
Archbishop Nicholas Chia will be the main celebrant at the
11.00am Feast Day Mass. A special
commemorative souvenir will be given to all who attend the
11.00am mass and they will also be welcome to join in the
reception after mass.
To prepare for the proper celebration of our Feast Day,
Triduum masses will be held from Wednesday, 15th Feb
to Friday, 17th Feb 2012 at 6.00pm.
On Saturday, 18th Feb, after the 6.00pm
Sunset Mass, there will be a candle-light procession of the
relic of St. Bernadette around the Church, followed by
benediction. All are welcome.
LENTEN SEASON
Ash Wednesday, which
signals the start of the Lenten Season, falls on 22nd
February 2012. It is a day of penance, to be marked
by fasting and abstinence. Mass times are at 6.30am
and 7.00pm.
During the season of Lent, Stations of the Cross will be
held every Friday after the 6.00pm mass.
COUPLES GATHERING
Saturday, 25th February, 7pm,
Parish Canteen
The Family Life Team invites
married couples, especially new parents and those with young
children to join us at our next gathering. The
evening’s theme: Parenting.
A simple dinner
will be provided. There will be no charge. However, please
register, so that we can make arrangements for the food.

RCIA 2012
Our new Rite of Christian
Initiation for Adults (RCIA) journey starts 22nd May
2012. If you have a friend or relative or if you know
someone who is searching for God, or who wants to become a
Catholic, or who simply wants to know more about the Catholic
faith, please introduce them to the RCIA.
The RCIA is a one-year journey of fun and learning and
growing with the community here in St. Bernadette.
Classes are on Tuesdays from 7.45pm to 9.30pm. Call
