CITY DISTRICT VOCATION TEAM RETREAT SAT 28 AUG & SUN
29 AUG
The above retreat will be held at
Church of St Teresa from 9am to 9pm on Saturday and 9am to 6
pm on Sunday. Fr. Ignatius Huan will be the Spiritual
Director. Opportunities for time to reflect, pray, and build
community are an important aspect of the Vocation Team. This
is a time for us to reflect, pray and discuss God’s presence
and a call for discernment. It is open to all who are
concerned about the need for more vocations and interested in
vocation promotion.
The cost is $35 for non-stay-in and $55 for stay-in. Please

NO INFANT BAPTISM IN AUGUST
Please note
that there will be no Infant Baptism on the 1st Sunday of
August due to the conferment of the Sacrament of Confirmation
by the Archbishop at the 11.00am Mass. Infant Baptisms
will resume on 5th September 2010. Preparation
session will be held on 29 August 2010. Please do register
early.

SBC FOOD & FUN FAIR 2010
The Food and Fun Fair is coming again! Reserve
this date: Sunday, 21 November 2010 on your calendar.
We are still in need of help with the following. PLEASE

Fair Stalls: We are still short
of the following stalls: 6 food, 4 handicrafts & 3 games. You
can set up one of these stalls or help to man them. Please
approach the parish office for the registration forms and/or
committee contact.
Ticket Sales:
Select one of these weekends & make it a challenging yet
fulfilling weekend of selling our fun fair tickets. Contact
Angela Scholling at 97705813 if you can help to sell at these
churches.

The budgeted amount for our renovation is $4.8 million. We

NIGHT
COUNSELLING
Begun on 1st Feb 2007, trained lay counsellors from the Family Life Society
are available twice a week in the evening at several parishes across Singapore to journey and provide a listening ear to anyone in need.
Night counselling is available
at this parish. Counselling is strictly by appointment. Call 63820688 for more information or to make an appointment.
COUNSELLING IN TAGALOG is also available at the
Church of St. Bernadette on Wednesday nights (by appointment only).
